New Feature: Featured Artists
Several bands have asked how us how they can use their Facebook applications to promote their friends’ bands or other bands they really like. In response, we’ve added a section to the bottom of each Band’s Facebook application where a Band can pick upto 10 bands that they want to promote. Facebook applications move to PHP
Over the next couple of days, we’ll be migrating all of our band’s Facebook applications from FLEX to PHP. This will greatly increase reliability and performance. We’ve also added a few features to keep in compliance with Facebook’s new rules like users have to opt in to receive notifications or to put a widget on their profile.

Now on EC2
Due to scaling concerns we’ve decided to switch our hosting to Amazon’s EC2. As we continue to grow, this will not only save us a lot of headache dealing with adding new web servers, but we expect this will also save us a lot of time.
